Gardai in Cork have questioned a man after an 18 year old was left fighting for his life following a house party in Cork city on Monday night.

The teenager is in a critical but stable condition at Cork University Hospital after taking 2C-B - a psychoactive substance - at the party on Monday night.

Gardai arrested and questioned a 29 year old man in connection with the supply of the drug.

He was released without charge earlier and a file is now being prepared for the DPP.
