Three people have been arrested in connection with the escape of a prisoner from Tallaght Hospital in Dublin last month.
Derek Brockwell escaped from custody after he was taken to the hospital from Portlaoise Prison for treatment.
He was re-arrested in Belfast the next day.
53 year old Derek Brockwell was serving a seven-year sentence in Portlaoise prison for an armed robbery in Blackrock, Co Dublin in 2012.
On February 17th, he was brought to Tallaght Hospital, on a planned visit, for treatment - where he stabbed two of the prison officers guarding him before escaping on an awaiting motorbike.
He was recaptured over 24 hours later outside a pub in Belfast.
This morning, Gardai investigating the escape arrested a man and a woman in their early 60s in Co Meath.
And they also detained a man in his 30s in Portlaoise.
They've been taken to Tallaght and Rathfarnham Garda Stations in Dublin where they're being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
