Gardai are investigating the discovery of three viable explosive devices in Tallaght in Dublin last night.
The Army Bomb Disposal Squad was called to the scene at Cushlawn after the devices were found on a green area by a member of the public at around half past 8.
A number of houses were evacuated and the devices were made safe without the need for a controlled explosion just before 10 o'clock.
