There were at least three winning tickets sold for America's world record $1.5 billion dollar lottery jackpot.

The Powerball draw took place this morning.

So far, organisers say they know tickets bought in Tennessee and Florida have also claimed a share.

And crowds have gathered at a convenience store in California where one of the winning tickets was sold.
