An Irish man has died in hospital in Melbourne, Australia this morning after sustaining head injuries on Saturday.
30 year old Eoin Murray from Leixlip in Co Kildare was found injured on the street in the city in the early hours of Saturday morning.
He'd been in a critical condition in hospital since then.
Victoria police confirmed Mr Murray passed away this morning.
The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance to his family, who traveled to Melbourne to be with him.
