A 30 year old homeless woman has died after being found in a tent near Cork city.

The woman was discovered at Gilabbey Park yesterday morning and was taken to Cork University Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

She is the third homeless person to die this week.

It comes as the Taoiseach has admitted the government is struggling to get ahead of the homelessness crisis.
