300 million euro is to be invested in social housing - with 2,000 homes due over the next three years.
It's the first time the European Investment Bank has entered the Irish housing market.

Killarney Court in Dublin 1 was refurbished in the early 2000s. The complex was formerly known as St. Joseph's Mansions and was a blackspot for drugs.
It's hoped that St. Mary's Mansions will be brought up to this standard.
