A 31 year old man has died after his car hit a tree in Co Galway.
It happened shortly after half past ten last night at Colemanstown near Ballinasloe.
His body has been removed to Portiuncula Hospital for a post mortem.
The road is closed to facilitate a forensic collision investigation and diversions are in place.
Gardai are asking any witnesses to the collision to contact them in Ballinasloe.
