34% of the calls to the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre last year related to child sexual abuse.
12,855 people contacted the organisation's 24 hour helpline in 2017, according to the organisations annual report.
That marks an increase of 500 on the previous year, which the centre has put down to the rise of the MeToo movement.

Over the course of the year, almost 20% of those contacting the helpline were under the age of 24.
The centre's annual report also reveals an increase in the number of people who say they were raped by someone they met on a dating app.
