Gardai in Co Meath are appealing for the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of a missing 34 year old man.

William Maughan was last seen between 2 and 3 o'clock on Tuesday afternoon in the Gormanstown area.

He's described as being 5 foot 8 inches in height - of athletic build - with brown shaved hair and green eyes.

It is not known what he was wearing when last seen.

Gardai say he is known to frequent Balbriggan, Stamullen and Gormanstown.

Anyone with information is being asked to come forward.
