The Garda Commissioner has launched a fresh appeal for information into the murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe three years ago today.

Garda Donohoe was shot dead outside Lordship Credit Union in county Louth, on the night of the 25th of January 2013.

Nóirín O'Sullivan says Adrian Donohoe was the very embodiment of dedication to the community and the impact of his death is still felt in Dundalk.

Commissioner O'Sullivan says An Garda Síochána is committed to ensuring his killers are brought to justice.

She is appealing to anyone with information to contact Dundalk Garda Station or the Garda Confidential line.
