Michael Fassbender is also up for his lead role as Steve Jobs.

While writer Emma Donoghue got the nod for her screenplay Room adapted from her best selling novel of the same name.

And Catriona Balfe was nominated for her role in the TV drama Outlander.

The awards will take place on 10th January.
