It's understood 4 people killed at an Australian theme park today were from the same family.
Two women and two men aged between 32 and their early 40s were killed when the family favourite Thunder River Rapids ride apparently malfunctioned at the Dream World theme park on the Gold Coast.
The ride is described as 'family friendly' and suitable for children as young as two.

Emergency services say two were thrown out of the ride as it flipped over on a conveyor belt - and the other two became trapped. It's believed another pair from the same carriage managed to escape.
Gold Coast mayor Tom Tate told AAP, 'It's one of the saddest days in our city'.
The Park has tweeted to says that it will be closed until further notice - and a major investigation is underway.
