Investigations are continuing after a 40 year old man died from stab wounds in Dublin yesterday evening.

The incident happened at a house in Harmonstown Road in Artane at around 7.40pm.

He was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

A man in his 40s remains in Garda custody this morning in connection with the investigation.
