The death toll following a wave of suicide bombings across the Afghan capital Kabul has now risen to 50.

A NATO soldier and eight contractors from the organisation are among the dead.

A military camp in Kabul was targeted last night, hours after two bombings elsewhere in the city.

Local officials say most of the victims were Afghan police cadets.
