Rescue efforts will resume this morning to reach 45 people stranded in cable cars high over the French Alps.

They've had to spend the night hovering above Mont Blanc after wires crossed in high winds. 

65 other people were rescued by helicopter yesterday before the rescue efforts were abandoned because of darkness and bad weather.
