Seven people have been arrested after three separate drugs hauls, with a combined total of over 6.8 million euro.
Over 4 million euro worth of heroin has been seized in Co Louth while cocaine with an estimated value of 2 million was found in south Dublin.
And half a million euro worth of drugs were seized in Rosslare Europort.

Two men have been arrested after Revenue seized heroin, cocaine, ecstacy and LSD at Rosslare Europort.
As a result of routine profiling, officers from Revenue’s Customs Service seized 2.7 kilos of heroin, over a kilo of ecstacy; almost one kilo of cannabis resin and a quantity of LSD tablets.
The haul is worth over 500 thousand euro.
The drugs were found concealed in the fuel tank of a UK registered vehicle that had disembarked a ferry that arrived from Cherbourg.
The customs team was alerted after Sniffer dog Ralph, a member of Revenue’s Canine Team gave an indication.
