New figures from the Central Bank show that fewer people are behind on mortgages payments in the short term, although those in arrears for more than 2 years are growing.
More than 132 thousand people are now in arrears overall, and the drop in the short term is seen as good news that solutions to the mortgage crisis are starting to work.
