50 million euro is to be spent building two satellite centres for the new National Children's Hospital.
The two 'urgent care centres' will be built in Blanchardstown and Tallaght and help to ease the workload on the main hospital in Kilmainham.
Health minister James Reilly says the centres will deal with less urgent cases, but will be capable of handling some emergencies.
