Landslides have destroyed homes in Taiwan as a typhoon tore across the island, leaving at least six people dead.

The powerful storm has caused more than 100 injuries, and left three million properties without electricity.

It's now heading towards China's eastern coast, where more than 160-thousand people have been ordered to leave their houses.
