Aid teams have evacuated 65 more civilians from the besieged Syrian city of Homs.

The group of women, children and elderly men was escorted out of the Old City of Homs, which has been surrounded by Syrian government troops for several months.

The operation was made possible by a UN-brokered deal between the government and rebels to observe a three-day "humanitarian pause" in hostilities.

However, Syrian state television accused rebels of firing on the convoy.

There had been fears that today's operation might not go ahead at all - after a convoy was shelled yesterday in the city, killing 5 people.
