Gardaí have seized seven stolen cars as part of a crackdown on organised crime in the east of the country.

Operation Thor has been targeting a gang stealing cars from outside people's homes in Dublin.

Searches in Wexford, Wicklow, Dublin and Meath yesterday all resulted in stolen goods being found.

Among the haul was also 80 thousand euro worth of cannabis.

One man in his 50s has been arrested.
