Seven out of 10 Irish people say they're proud of Ireland's role in global relief efforts.
The study by Oxfam Ireland on World Humanitarian Day, also shows that one in two people have donated to an emergency appeal in the past year.
While 83 percent of those surveyed believe media coverage is vital to make public aware of crises.
