75,000 spend a second night without power

A team of over 3,000 ESB engineers are working to restore electricity to more than 75,000 homes and business who have spent a second night without power.

Cork and Kerry and the worst affected areas.

Meanwhile Met Éireann says an Orange flood warning is in place across the country with yet another Atlantic storm set to hit Ireland today.

Further heavy rain and strong winds are expected - and there's a snow and ice warning in place for parts of Connacht, Longford, Westmeath and Meath.

Mike Fitzgerald is with ESB Networks - he says they have deployed all resources to ger everyone back on the grid.
