Rent has risen by more than a third since 2012, with the number of homes available down by three quarters in the same time.

A new report from the Simon Community shows that more than 6 thousand people are currently in emergency accommodation.

It's found that more than two thirds of those in mortgage arrears are behimd for more than 90 days.
