A 78 year old woman has died after a two car crash in Malahide in Dublin yesterday.
The woman was killed when the car she was traveling in crashed with another car on the coast road at around 3 o'clock yesterday.
She was taken to Beaumont Hospital where she was pronounced dead. A post mortem will be carried out later.
A 79 year old man was also taken to Beaumont Hospital - his condition is described as stable.
Two women aged 22 and 59 in the second vehicle were also treated at Beaumont for non serious injures.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses.
