FIFA President Sepp Blatter has defiantly told a press conference that he will fight an eight year ban from football-related activities.

He continues to deny wrongdoing over the payment to Michel Platini - for which both men were banned from the game this morning.
It follows a hearing into a one point three million pound payment approved by Blatter to the Frenchman.

The pair insisted it was for work done in 2002, but FIFA's Ethics Committee decided there was no legal basis for the cash transfer.
Helen Vaughan reports.
Sky's sports news correspondent Paul Kelso says the money also took a long time to arrive.
