A man has been arrested after a fire at an apartment complex in Clongriffin in Dublin this evening.

Six units of the firebigade were called to the scene shortly after 5.30pm and 80 apartments were evacuated.

There are no reports of injuries and the blaze is now under control.

The man detained has been taken to Coolock Garda station for questioning.
