Iraqi police officials say at least 80 people have died in a car bomb attack in a town north of Baghdad.

Islamic State militants have claimed responsibility, according to messages on Twitter that haven't yet been verified.

Yesterday's blast at a marketplace also reportedly injured more than 100 people.
