A new survey shows over 80 per cent of people think boosting minimum wage, capping high pay and raising taxes will help to create a more equal society.
According to research carried for think-tank TASC, the majority of people think income in Ireland is unfairly distributed.
But the poll also shows that 50 per cent of people say they would be willing to pay higher taxes IF high quality public services were guaranteed.
