Close to 8,000 people have taken part in today's 'Great Pink Run' for Breast Cancer Ireland.

Today FM have teamed up with The Great Pink Run and so far have surpassed the quarter of a million euro mark raised.

There was plenty of pink on display as men, women and children took part in the 5K or 10K run at the Phoenix Park.

Tomorrow the Great Pink Run heads for Kilkenny.
