€830,000 in cash has been seized in a targetted operation in Naas, Co.Kildare on Saturday.

Two men were arrested under the Criminal Justice Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Act .

The arrests were part of a planned operation targeting organised crime

Both men one in his 30's and the other in his 40's were detained at Nanas Garda Station but have since been released.

Follow up searches took place in Lingo, Lucan and Kildare and a car valued at 50,000 euro was seized.
