An investigation is underway following the deaths of two young brothers in Co Sligo.
The discovery was made in an area known as Banada in Tubbercurry yesterday evening.
A nine-year-old boy was found in the house with stab wounds - while his 21-year-old brother was found dead in a shed outside.
The young boy was removed from the scene by Air Ambulance to Sligo Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The scene has been preserved while gardai carry out a technical examination - and the Office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
Local Councillor Jerry Lundy says the community is in shock.
