More than 90 Irish women will die from cervical cancer this year according to the HSE.

The Health Service Executive is urging parents to get their daughters vaccinated against the Human Pamplona Virus (HPV) to prevent cervical cancer later in life.

The HPV vaccine was introduced for all girls in first year of secondary school in 2010.

Cervical cancer is the second most common cause of death due to cancer in women aged 25 to 39 years.
