Dublin Bus has unveiled 90 new state of the art buses in a 35 million euro investment in public transport.

It comes as passenger numbers are up 2 per cent so far this year – with 700 thousand extra people taking Dublin buses in the first six months of this year.
The new technology includes a TV screen on the stairs so passengers can see if there are free seats, without going upstairs.

Helen Vaughan was given a tour of a new bus by one of the drivers.
