Fianna Fáil Most Popular Party In New Poll

Fianna Fail has overtaken Fine Gael according to a new opinion poll.

Sinn Fein's also had a rise in the Behaviour and Attitudes poll for the Sunday Times.

This new poll in the Sunday Times shows Fianna Fail is the most popular party in the country on 29 per cent.

It's down one percentage point but is still three ahead of Fine Gael, which is unchanged at 26 per cent.

The Green Party's on 5 per cent, while Labour's on 3, both are down two points.

But the big winner in the popularity stakes is Sinn Fein, which is on 20 per cent, up 6 on the last Behaviour and Attitudes poll taken in July.

The Independent Alliance is on 4 per cent, while Solidarity-People Before Profit, Renua and the Social Democrats are all on 1 per cent.

The survey was carried out between Thursday, September 5th and Tuesday, September 17th.
