999 operators strike today in Navan, Co. Meath in a row over pay and conditions.
They won't answer emergency calls from 8am to 8pm.
But other call centres in Dublin and Ballyshannon in Co. Donegal will operate as normal.
Conduit Global who run the service says it's disappointed with the action, as significant changes have been made.
