A man has died following a crash in Tipperary.

The two car collision happened at Tullaskeagh, Roscrea yesterday evening at about 7:30pm.

A 37 year old passenger - was seriously injured and taken to University Hospital Limerick where he was pronounced dead - four others involved were also taken to hospital with non life threatening injuries.

A forensic examination of the scene will take place this afternoon - while a post mortem is to be arranged.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact Gardaí.
