Police in the North are warning the public not to approach an escaped prisoner who's been on the run since yesterday afternoon.
Convicted murderer Thomas Valliday fled from prison staff during a hospital visit in County Down and is considered to be dangerous.
The 27-year-old was jailed in 2010 for battering a 51 year old man to death in Belfast, while high on drink and drugs.
He'd served five years out of a 17 year sentence.
