A Dublin TD has condemned the destruction of 13 headstones at Goldenbridge Cemetery.

The grave of the first leader of the Irish Free State, W.T. Cosgrave, was destroyed by vandals overnight along with many others.

The Cemetery is currently closed while an investigation is carried out and the Glasnevin Trust say that some of the graves have been destroyed beyond repair.
