Gardaí have arrested a man in connection with an investigation into a crash in which a 43-year-old woman was killed.

The man was arrested this morning and he's being held at Kildare Garda Station.

Diana Harton, from Kildare town, died after getting caught up in a high speed Garda chase on the M7 last Thursday night.

A 23 year-old man is currently being detained at Kildare Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
