A man has been killed in a crash in County Meath.

The collision happened when the motorcyclist collided with a truck on the Maynooth to Dunboyne Road in Ashbourne at 1:40pm.

The man has been removed to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown.

Nobody else was injured in the collision.

The road is now closed to facilitate a Forensic collision examination and Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact Ashbourne Garda station.
