A man has been arrested following a robbery at a convenience store in Neilstown, Dublin.
Shortly before 7am two men, one with a firearm, approached a male member of staff at the entrance of the shop.
They assaulted him and fled the scene on foot with a quantity of cigarettes and alcohol - he was taken to Tallaght hospital with minor injuries.
Gardaí arrested one man in his mid 40's close to the scene - he is currently been detained at Ronanstown Garda Station - while the second man remains at large.
Gardaí located a firearm, a baton, cigarettes and alcohol in a follow up search and are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
