A policeman has been shot in Ferguson in Missouri - the city which saw days of rioting following the fatal shooting by police of unarmed African American teenager - Michael Brown.

Reports suggest the officer was hit in the arm - but circumstances surrounding the incident are still unknown.

Meanwhile, Michael Brown's parents have rejected an apology from the Missouri police chief following their son's death.
