A woman has died in a house fire in Belfast this afternoon.

Her remains were discovered after a blaze in the Archdale Drive area of the Belvoir Estate shortly after two o'clock.

The woman - believed to be aged in her 50's - was discovered deceased in the property.

A post-mortem examination will take place to determine the cause of death.
