More than 1 in 10 people have been in a car where they knew or suspected that the driver was over the legal blood alcohol limit.

An AA survey also found that 1 in 5 people admit to driving the morning after a night out, while unsure if their blood alcohol level had returned to the legal limit.

Barry Aldworth of the AA says that a passenger also has a responsibility to stop the driver from driving.
