The Sinn Féin President says he has grave concerns about the arrest of Bobby Storey.

The Sinn Fein northern chairman was detained this morning, along with two other men, in connection with the murder of Kevin McGuigan in Belfast.

At least 13 people have been arrested in relation to the murder of the father of nine so far - all have been released without charge.

Earlier Sinn Féin's Martin McGuinness said he's 'surprised' at the arrest and is 'confident of Mr Storey's early release.'

Its now emerged that the Taoiseach has contacted Mr McGuinness  - to emphasise that peace in the north was hard won and must be protected.
