Gerry Adams has agreed to make a Dáil statement on his role in the investigation of the murder of Brian Stack.
He agreed to the move after the Taoiseach challenged him to make a clear statement on the source of names he passed on to Gardaí:
Yesterday, Mr Stack's son Austin said he and Gerry Adams met with an IRA leader in 2013, who said he knew who the murderer was.
Mr Stack says he was told by the IRA member that the murderer had been 'disciplined' internally.
