Aer Lingus Boss says they must progress their plans

The Chief Executive of Aer Lingus has sounded a warning over the ongoing pensions dispute at the airline.

Siptu workers at the company and at Dublin Cork and Shannon airports have backed industrial action over the row, and could serve notice of their plans this week.

Announcing preliminary results for 2013 today, Christoph Mueller said they can't put off plans to improve their business any longer.

He wants to see Aer Lingus save around 30 million euro in the next couple of years.

And he believes proposals they've put forward represent a 'viable solution' to the pensions dispute:
