EU Ministers have backed plans for European countries to supply arms to Kurds fighting Islamist extremists in Iraq.
Charlie Flanagan and other foreign ministers have been meeting in Brussels to discuss how to stop violence in the north of the country.
The French have been leading plans to send arms, with Britain saying high tech equipment could be sent to help the Kurds.
Britain's Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond has also just announced new action by the UN.
